Troubleshoot blank screen

1. look in your PHP error file (or configure one in php.ini)
2. look in your Apache error log

Hi,
I hope someone can provide some troubleshooting pointers for a blank
screen when trying to open a sample project from the Sample
Applications Page. I've installed Mapserver from the Mapping Hacks
RPMs (Fedora 3). A test app run in Mapserver works fine. This is my
Mapserver:
MapServer version 4.6.0-beta3 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG
OUTPUT=WBMP OUTPUT=PDF OUTPUT=SWF OUTPUT=SVG SUPPORTS=PROJ
SUPPORTS=FREETYPE SUPPORTS=WMS_SERVER SUPPORTS=WMS_CLIENT
SUPPORTS=WFS_SERVER SUPPORTS=WFS_CLIENT SUPPORTS=WCS_SERVER
SUPPORTS=GEOS INPUT=EPPL7 INPUT=POSTGIS INPUT=OGR INPUT=GDAL
INPUT=SHAPEFILE DEBUG=MSDEBUG
I've followed the chameleon installation guide as close as possible
(though I does need to be updated). I've also copied the sample files
to /mydocs/ and created an alias for this. Hopefully I can get some
hints so I can make further progess here.
