I NEED HELP, I'm at my wits end.
I recently wrote a FaxServer Using R4 on DM3 boards
with Driver Ver. 5.1.1
It seems to be running OK, but after about 15,000
faxes, the driver stops working on a few ports.?
The fax state on the ports returned by
ATFX_STATE(dev) = CS_STOPD.
For some reason they get stuck in that state?
Then after a bit, a whole board (T1) will have that error.
The Cheetah log has the following line for every port
several times a second:
20:24:09.437: ERR1 FaxChannel dxxxB10C1 ----- GetR4State in FaxChannelFaxing -> Incorrect Operation 0x5
Then occasionally I will get the next line mingled in with the above:
17:26:21.437: ERR1 FaxChannel dxxxB1C2 ----- GetR4State in FaxChannelSetup -> Incorrect Operation 0x5
What I don't understand is that I am never calling Fx_Originate, or Fx_send unless the FaxState = CS_IDLE.
It appears that this error is getting written when I do the call to ATFX_STATE(dev).
In Polling for Jobs, once a second I am checking for a free port by calling ATFX_STATE and checking if it is IDLE or not. If not, I increment the port number and call ATFX_STATE again. When I find an available port, I then do a DB call to see if there are any jobs to do. If not, this continues over and over for the same port.
The Cheetah log fills with this error while this happens...???
Does anyone know what is causing this?
I would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks,
Ken Davis
