iText in Java to generate PDF files

Hi,

 

When I user iText in Java to generate PDF files on the fly, does it uses any write to local disk to do that or its generated in memory only?

 

Is there a limit on how many PDF's can be generated on the fly at same time without writing anything to local disk?

 

Is there a limit on how big a PDF size can be?
