Hello
Three questions, which i have to simulate a line printer:
- how can I get the height of a printed line? (space above+letter+space
under it, all belonging to the character)
You define it yourself: it's the leading.
You can ask iText to give you the height of a String in a certain font
where the string 'oooooo' will return a lower value that the String
'FgFgFg', but you don't want every line to have a different height
depending on the characters it contains, do you???
- how can i see at what point the next line is printed (so I can detect an
overflow)
Take my advice and read:
