In my template-base report solution, most text which mapping with a pre-defined
field are output via PdfContentByte directly to gain performance advantage.
Alignment is calculated before calling PdfContentByte#showText(String). Only   
for Element.ALIGN_JUSTIFIED(_ALL), a 1x1 PdfPTable are used for each field
instead. I know it must cost more, but most of fields of a report need not to be
justified.
That is the reason why I invented my own way to combine with an alternate font
by modifing PdfContentByte. It even works well with JFreeChart.
