2 free chapters of 'iText in Action'

I'm confused by the MEAP and third pages terms.  They all sounds like
Release Candidates to me. :-)

Let me ask in terms I can understand:

Is version 1.0 available?  Better yet, will there be a version 1.1?

PS.  I don't like version numbers that end with a zero. :-)

I chose two chapters that aren't very technical, so that they can be read by
people who don't know anything about Java or PDF development, aka 'decision
makers' ;-) The index of the book and part of the Front Matter (preface,
