On the other hand I know that the Table class is a bit of a nuisance when generating PDF and perhaps this is the time to think of a 1 or 2 year plan for removing it. Perhaps merge a bit of it into SimpleTable and then change the createPdfPTable and createTable calls into createPdfPTable and createRtfTable. Or something completely different.
