Not necessarily; it's just that I am in the middle of
a major refactoring operation of the classes that are
involved, and it's hard to do this right now.

Have a look at the CVS version of PdfWriter and
PdfDocument. Search for OCG. Then think of a way
to retrieve the OCG information from the existing
PDF documents, and some code that is able to merge
both dictionaries.
Take note that especially PdfDocument will be
changing a lot in the next few days.
