FC4: DNTV Live! DVB-T Pro not autodetecting

I have Fedora FC4 and I can't get it to autodetect my  digitalnow DNTV 
Live! DVB-T Pro [card=42] DVB-T card it loads the cx88_blackbird drives 
instead of the cx88_dvb driver which has the DNTV Live Pro drivers that 
support my DVB-T card.

eg when I manually load it I should see :
cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card
DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0]).
registering frontend 0 (Zarlink MT352 DVB-T)..

the udev selects the blackbird drive as it seems these have both the 
same attributes.

The quick fix is to delete the Blackbird line and bang the the module is 
detected ahead of blackbird.
I thought I had this solved but every time I make a h/w change the 
modules.pcimap seems to bet rebuild and I lose my changes.

Where do I fix this permanently?
