Hi Michael
I have tried a number of the basic magazines, but finally settled on
subscribing to Linux Magazine which is written in Germany but has a UK
english version.
Linux Magazine is "part of an international group of Linux publications
founded in the early days of the Open Source movement."
It has sections for all levels from the Beginner to Kernel & Guru news.
The Sections are:
News - S/W, Business, Linux World, Kernel, Insecurity
Cover Stories
Reviews
Know-How
Sysadmin
Programming
Linux User
Community.
There is an On-line preview http://www.linux-magazine.com/issue/64
notified via email and the latest distributions/packages on the DVD.
see: http://www.linux-magazine.com/ for more info.
I find it reasonable value.
Cheers

Hi,
New to the list, only been to one Thursday clug so far.
I've been looking in the ACT library catalogue, and it seems that tho
they have a few books on Linux, they don't get any of the popular
magazines. I plan to put in an acquisition request for one of them,
most likely Linux Format, since that is the one I seem to have bought
most often.
I'm wondering whether the list has an opinion, and also whether I can
refer to clug as supporting the idea.
