Mounting DVDs via NFS problem

Tried those two, no difference :/

mythtv:/# mount -o umask=000 /dev/hdc /cdrom
mount: block device /dev/hdc is write-protected, mounting read-only
mythtv:/# cd media/
mythtv:/media# ls -l
total 2
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root       cdrom       6 2005-06-07 19:30 cdrom -> cdrom0
dr-xr-xr-x  3 4294967295 4294967295 88 2003-09-08 21:08 cdrom0
mythtv:/media#
