Controlling TV via Myth

If your serial port interface is not standard RS-232 then you may need to
use a infra-red solution. Use lirc or another script to control a IR blaster
to send commands to the tv. You would still need to to use irexec to
generate the action from a remote button. One product that comes to mind is
the myblaster serial from www.my.tv as it directly supports
multikey/multicommand macros under linux.
