How to scan for channels

Sorry, I scanned with wrong country settings when I got those messages.
The original problem persists also with 15sec & 10sec timouts:
Timout Scanning -- no signal
...
Timout Scanning -- no tables

What timeout values are you using?

What kind of hw should I buy to avoid this problem? Or what could I do
to get my mythtv working? I'm still amazed that this can't be called a
bug.

Please, I beg for help.
