Will this ever work in MythTV?

The wishlist is the proper place for enhancement/feature requests.
Tickets should only be (confirmed) bugs and patches. Bugs should be
confirmed by posting questions to the -users list and following
instructions in the replies (which may eventually ask you to create a
ticket).
