linux dvd drive questions and dmesg errors

I am not 100% sure this is the issue but I think you need to specify the
format on the disk in your fstab. I am not in front of my reference
materials but I think you need to change auto to relect the format on the
disk. A look on the wiki should provide numerous examples.
