Need help with TV Out card

Folks,

  I'm setting up a MythTV box and I'm not sure if the video card I
got works with the mainboard.  

  The mainboard is an ASUS P4SP-MX micro ATX.  

  The video/TV out card is an ATI X700 Pro AGP.  

  The system is in a Silverstone aluminium case equipped with a riser
card. It already has a Hauppage PVR500 card and a Linksys Wifi card.

  The problem is this: there's no video output from the ATI card whne
connected to a regular monitor through the regular VGA connector (no
DVI, no TV out at the moment).  I've tried all combinations of the
following BIOS options:

  - Primary VGA BIOS - AGP VGA Card/PCI VGA Card

  - Onboard VGA - on/off

  The X700 is connected to the power supply.

  Am I looking at incompatible hardware ?

  Has anyone the same setup or experience with this combination of
hardware ?
