mythburn- lowered audio?

Hi, all. Thanks to Jesse's tip about removing the chapter menus (thanks again, Jesse!), I've burned a working DVD. Huzzah! Joy.

One
thing I find strange, though, is that the audio on the DVD is
considerably lower than the corresponding audio in MythTV. It doesn't
seem to be just the audio in xine, as the opening menu animation seems
to be louder than the audio of the actual burned episodes. Any thoughts
on why this might be?
