Silence suppression option in H.245 for G.723 codec

Hi,

 

What would be the bit rate selected by an endpoint for the non-speech signals, when the silence suppression option selected as true for G723.1 codec.

If it is TRUE, will it affect the audio/video quality? If any one having more details regarding G.723 with Silence Suppression please send.
