getpeername failed

Hi,

I am discovering several error messages from one of our samba servers. Logcheck says:

This machine 192.168.9.20 has winxp home edition on it and is located in a different subnet accross a wan/vpn connection.

But the real problem is the connection from on client within the same subnet(192.168.1.0/24). Its connection to the samba server is terminated every 10-20 minutes. The client has a network drive mapped to samba and is accessing its files from it. Offline Browsing is enabled and everytime, the connection is terminated, this little symbol appears,where one is able to click 'o.k' and the connection will be reastablished. I could be a client/w2k problem, but I could not find any usefull hints in the systemlog

Where or how do I have fix that problem?
