Simple Samba Configuration on FC5, Please help!

----
sounds like SELinux issue (FC-5) - check /var/log/messages, dmesg for
'denied avc' messages to confirm. If so...

either, turn SELinux to 'permissive' mode
or
learn how to use SELinux to 'label' /shared for use with Samba

Craig

Thank you so much for your quick help!
I have checked dmesg and found that:
audit(1152331560.806:113): avc: denied { write } for pid=9565 comm="smbd" name="shared" dev=dm-0 ino=130704 scontext=user_u:system_r:smbd_t:s0 tcontext=user_u:object_r:root_t:s0 tclass=dir

The share works perfectly after I set SELinux to permissive!

Thank you so much
