sipXtapi problem

Hello,
I'm working on a softphone based on sipXtapi. I have two problems:
1. The problem is that from time to time, the calls are behaving strangely. One of the parts is not able to hear the other part. This happens random, so I could not find a fixed pattern of the problem. Is anyone experiencing this same problem?
2. After some time of talking, the quality of the voice gets worse, so nothing can be understood any more. The problem appears suddenly and doesn't seem to go away until a new call is made.
