define which audio device should be opened

Yah but if you add your patches to the list someone else maybe could :)

Hi Bob,

because sipX (and my modifications) are part of my thesis, there isn't a chance, that I will retest it with the latest version before May :-(
I won't change software versions before the thesis is done. I'm sorry!

Cheers,

Timo

Timo,

The latest code hasn't been merged back to main yet. You will need to update to
the .zip or .tgz source distribution on the sipXtapi page. When I get some free
time, I'll create branch off main to track this source tree. The PBX team is
working on some releases and have asked the sipXtapi team not merge back to main
until after their releases are out (we've made a lot of changes and need to
re-test with the MediaServer/proxies/etc.).

Not yet. The sipXtapi API has the concept of audio devices,

however,

the code needs to be written that will enumerate the audio devices,
populate those into sipXtapi and then communicate that to

the dmaTask.

Right now that is implemented for Windows only. We need

that logic for

Linux and MacOS.

If you can write the code to enumerate the devices, I can

incorporate

that and plumb (or guide) that to the dmaTask.

I already do that, it should work stable in a few days... The
only thing
is I use a revision from August 2005, but I have taken a look at 3.01
and there hasn't been changed much...

Cheers,

Timo
