I think I wasn't wrong. One JVM instance is (still) single operating system thread IMHO. At least it was in 1.4.2 on Linux and Windows and I haven't heard they improve it on 1.5.0.forget it. it was wrong.> Teoreticly, your servers should be faster if you configure 4 Tomcat > instances (4 JVMs) to do round robin. > You should be able to improve performances almost 4x. could you explain why?? Otherwise ps aux should show process "java" few times.
