mod_jk and Perl Sections?

So am I correct in assuming that you cannot use Perl stanza's to configure
mod_jk?

I'm getting the following when I try

command_rec for directive `JkOptions' not found!
command_rec for directive `jkMount' not found!
command_rec for directive `JkMount' not found!
command_rec for directive `JKWorkerProperty' not found!
