Managing custom changes through Trac upgrades

Hi everyone,

We've made some custom changes here and there to our Trac installation
(breadcrumb navigation, the addition of a 'My Tickets' button, etc),
and I'm looking for a way to install the latest version (we're on
0.9.2) without:

 * Blowing away the changes
 * Needing to manually apply them again

Anybody else have these concerns?  How do you keep things straight?
