KWorld ATSC110

Is there anyone making progress on the Kworld ATSC110 support?

I would like to help out if possible but don't know how to go about this. Should one request information from the manufacture for schematics and technical support?

I do know that this board has the latest saa7135 chip which has some new features above the 7134. Is anyone planning any support for the Dolby digital?

Hi David,
Neither of my patches work on the dvb side yet, beyond detecting the card as
far as I know. I am unable to get time right now to fully involve myself
properly to work on it. I am hoping to return to it this coming week.

Those patches are dated, and may no longer work with the current cvs. They
where intended to get the NTSC side of the card to work for testing, and
provide a starting point for building on the ATSC side.

I also see that Dwaine is working on it, and has corrected some errors. I
look forward to seeing what comes next.

Andrew.

I haven't contributed any great input and am a little stumped about how to proceed.

I got some great guidance from the gau, mkrufky and nshm aliases in #linuxtv on freenode.net and was able to run dscaler against the card in windows XP, but after trying out in succession a number of changes, we were unable to get the remote to speak with those drivers.

After gau asked me to scrutinize and photograph the card, we observed that it does indeed have the 7135 chip and efforts stopped around there.

I hope that Andrew Burri and Dwaine can offer some leadership here, since they seem to have the know-how and the card models themselves.

Anybody?
