Hello,
I work for a dental software company and I need to add support for this
intraoral camera:
http://dentalsalesdirect.com/aic888.htm
More precisely, to add support for a proprietary-to-usb converter (AIC700,
can't find it on the web site).
lsusb lists the device like this:
Bus 004 Device 007: ID eb1a:2821 eMPIA Technology, Inc
To get it to work, I had to add the following line to em28xx-cards.c
"""
{ USB_DEVICE(0xeb1a, 0x2821), .driver_info = EM2820_BOARD_PINNACLE_DVC_90 },
"""
This is on 2.6.16rc2.
What is a bit strange though, is that usbview lists the device in red, which
means IIRC that there is no kernel module for it.
Do you think this can be integrated in the kernel?
