Hi Peter and Hartmut,
many thanks for your useful hints ...
I tried simply recompiling a new kernel, 2.6.15, and with the card=60 option the card started working, more or less ...
I mean, I've been able to use tvtime and see some channels, better than my real TV ;-), but with no sound ...
I've tried with kdetv too, but after some tweaking I managed only to see some bad tv box in reduced resolution ... 320xsomething ... in full screen mode I always see a black screen, and only running in a (small) window I obtain some TV images ...
That said, only video ...
I tried also the radio, I think that the tuner "tunes", but as anticipated befoer ... no sound ...
Btw, sound is working ... as amarok playing mp3's states clearly ....
I gave a choice also to DVB, with kaffeine, ... that detects the card, as a DVB souce, but with no channels ... and scanning finds no channels at all ... even no digital signal ... bah?! I windog I obain a dozen of digital channels ...
Summarizing,
* Analog TV ok
* Sound ko
* Radio ko
* DVB-T ko

The good news is that I managed to make the card partially work, the remaining problems are question of googling and tweking I guess, let's try ... In any case, suggestions will be appreciated and tested ...
(I'm going to try right now the card=87 option ... let's see)
Again, many thanks, und schoenes Wochenende

    In addition to Peters comment:
    If it really is a hybrid card, you should also give card=87 a try.
    It will
    not support all features but there is a good chance that at least
    analog tv
    and DVB-T work. You should als set the option debug=1 to the
    tuner.ko and
    i2c_scan=1 to saa7134.ko.
    If you don't use the recent driver, there is the risk that it causes
    a lock
    up. So after you compiled and installed the new modules, unplug and
    replug
    the card to prevent this.

    Good luck

Regarding sound: Analog sound can not be routed through cardbus, so you
need to use digital sound. So please load the saa7134 module with the option
alsa=1 or oss=1. You also need to load the appropriate module which creates
a second "sound card". Currently only mplayer supports digital sound routing.
If you wish to use another TV application, you need to route the sound
manually, i.e with sox.
Regarding the other things, please post a kernel log with the driver load
messages.

Best regards
   Hartmut
