I have two v4l-cards. The first one's a budget TV-grabber card
(without an MPEG encoder, you know), the other one's a Video-grabber,
zoran based, full featured.
I wonder, if I can combine both cards to a full-featured TV-grabber so
I can use a pretty old crab to record videos from TV.
The problem is: There is no output-port from the TV-card. So the
MPEG-Encoder must be used via the PCI, if I understand it right. Is
this possible?
As noone has answered my question, yet, I wonder if my question's too
stupid, my question's not clear enough or it is just too hard to answer,
because it's theoratically possible, but noone has ever managed to make
it work.
My video-grabber's a Pinnacle DC-30+. I know, if I could use the
video-input, there wasn't a problem with the hardware MPEG-Encoder. So,
just too be a little more precise, is there a way to get access to the
hardware encoder _not_ using the video-in-connectors?
Or - to put it the other way around - can I add a video-output from the
tuner (or somewhere else) of my "Typhoon" TV-Card? It's chipset is a
bt879khf 25879-12. I can't figure out, what tuner's been used.
Thanks for your help!
