terratec 1400 DVB-T composite/s-video

Hello,
I own a Terratec Cinergy 1400 DVB-T.
The DVB-T part works fine (Fedora Core 4, kernel 2.6.14), but the card
also has a S-Video/Composite input which I cannot make work.
On the web I found no indications of some particular configuration I need
nor that the svideo input is not supported for this card. I would like to know which is case, because I want to transfer some vhs tapes to dvd.

Thanks,
  Roberto
