Green stripe with mplayer and em28xx

Hello,

I'm trying to use MPlayer to display video from a Dazzle DVC 90 device.

Problem is, I get a green stripe at the bottom of the image, like this:

Xawtv shows the video correctly, although there is a message in the console:
"v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway". But I need to make it 
work with MPlayer.

If there is no known solution, I can try to fix this myself. I would just like 
to have some directions to get started. Do you think the bug is in MPlayer or 
in the module? What could be the possible cause?

Versions:
- Linux: 2.6.16
- MPlayer: 1.0pre7try2
- Xawtv: 3.94
