Hi Roland,

I've made some (final?) fixes in my v4l-dvb tree:

This file does not include your latest changes. Guess I'm not the only
one who can't find the tree corresponding to a patch... You can click
your way through a patch and in the end you will always end up with an
archive which will not include the patch.
Anyway, since the changes got merged to the master repo I tried that
instead, http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb?ca=d62a621098cf;type=bz2.

Like you, I still have one little 'pop', but playing with fast_mute didn't help either, so that's basically it.

If you find no major problems (please test asap!) I'll ask for this to be included in 2.6.17.
Works fine. I thought though that rxsubchans should include mono too when the transmission is stereo, which is not the case (I think this is what makes it impossible to switch to mono with (granted, old version) of kdetv, it will always switch back to stereo after some seconds - there are valid reasons to force mono with a stereo transmission).
kdetv does show a useful selected audio mode at least, in contrast to xawtv which relied on the old driver behaviour of changing audmode. Guess it's time for a new xawtv version ;-).

There is still more room for improvements, but that's for the next kernel.
Thanks for working on that old weirdo chip when the newer ones are just so much nicer to program :-).
