O.k. Maybe I wasn't clear enough on this. The original problem of the DVB-T
part not working (DSP timeouts; firmware loading fails) is gone after some
tinkering. I can't really explain why or how.
That is why I started a different thread for this totally unrelated problem.
2) You have a recent firmware which is not the original one. That's good
but you must have gotten it with the windows driver update and it must
have updated it..
No, I reprogrammed the eeprom with the current firmware image from LifeView.
One interesting sidenote: after getting the card to work again (and updating
the firmware in the process) the reported firmware revision was 0x20. Since
using the card under windows once (to see whether reception quality has
improved there too) the reported revision is 0x29.
