bttv 2.6.16: wrong VBI_OFFSET?

I simply used my DVD player as input.
It's the same value for NTSC and PAL. 250-252 for HSCALE=0.

I have put some slightly boring .au files on the web. Samplingrate is set
to 1/1000th to allow audacity to zoom down to sample level. One channel per
VBI line. All from the same frame. No teletext, but a clearly visible line
sync impulse at the end of each line.
