Ok,
I tried with -> watch -n 1 "dmesg | tail -n 20" and press a key of the
remote control. How long do I wait to see a relevent message ? Even after one hour,
no message. I wondering now if my remote control is really gpio based.
regards

The log level of the debug messages is quite low and might not be going into
your logs, which is why I suggested using dmesg to check for output.
Everything else looks ok, try;
watch -n 1 "dmesg | tail -n 20"
instead of looking at the message log.

Yeah, I have input support built into my kernel rather then as a module.
