FWIW, I have
  /dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:02:06.0--event-
  /dev/input/by-path/pci-0000:02:08.0--event-

If you have a file named /etc/udev/persistent-input.rules, symlink to it from
/etc/udev/rules.d; and when the driver is next loaded, some useful device
links will be created.

If you don't have that file, you can grab it from udev in Debian testing or
unstable.
