kworld mce 200 deluxe install

Well, I think I'm back on track. But, still no video output. Now
dmesg gives me this:

I'm now running Gentoo, kernel 2.6.16-gentoo-r7. And, I've tried placing v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw in both /lib/firmware and /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Wes

My apologies. I checked for my first reply in the thread (gmail) and
it was going to the list. You might wish to check whether or not your
email client hoses up headers.

Right, but Suse 9.3 (updated to current) runs kernel
2.6.11.4-21.11-default (as listed by uname -a).

So Suse 10.1 would likely not be a good choice for a "quick and easy"
path, correct? Any comments on Gentoo? I've been looking for a good
excuse to try it out. I think I may get that install started tonight
and see what happens...

Thanks,
Wes
