I would like to believe it, but again
.subvendor = 0x17de,
.subdevice = 0x0841,
.card = CX88_BOARD_KWORLD_MCE200_DELUXE,
},{
.subvendor = 0x17de,
.subdevice = 0x0840,
.card = CX88_BOARD_KWORLD_HARDWARE_MPEG_TV_XPERT,
},{
either this is wrong then or the subsystem ID is not reliable enough to
distinguish the various flavors of these cards. (PRO has the same
subdevice)
Yes, you are right, I looked more on this thread title than on the
subsystem ID :(

Do you really have the tda9887 at 0x96 ?
It would be at least remarkable. Can't find a "dmesg" for your card,
but thanks to you and Michael for all the work on these cards.
here is the relevant part of my dmesg:
-------------------------
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
cx2388x v4l2 driver version 0.0.5 loaded
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:02:0a.0[A] -> Link [LNKA] -> GSI 17 (level,
low) -> IRQ 21
CORE cx88[0]: subsystem: 17de:0841, board: Kworld MCE 200 Deluxe

-------------------------
so it seems that there is a tda9887 detected
Since I added tuner=61, some was by try and error, I'm interested to
know if I did something wrong. First this tuner has no radio. Second if
you have a tda9887 for radio on your tuner it will not be configured for
MK3 specific radio if you use this tuner type.
Thanks, for pointing this out. I did not tried the radio yet because I
didn't need it.
Fine if you get all stations, but do you have stations broadcasting
between 442 and 464.25MHz, because I would expect most likely some
trouble here?
Unfortunately my cable provider does no broadcast anything between
these frequencies.
If possible prefer tuner=38 and if you lose channels we
must think about a proper solution if you need the MK3 radio config.
I will give it at try tonight or tomorrow and get back to you.
Best Regards,
Valentin Zagura
