I should make this the default.
I promised to try the noninterlaced=1 option with my Atari Jaguar game
console. Now I did - and it's working.
Since adding that parameter changed absolutely nothing in the display quality
of normal (interlaced) sources (later game consoles, DVD player etc.), I'd
like to add my vote for the "noninterlaced=1" behaviour to become the default
setting for the saa7134 driver.
Thanks for the info. I can't imagine a side effect besides that a field gets
dropped when the decoder resynchronizes the field order but this should not
be a problem (and its necessary to do that).
So i propose to invert the behaviour of this option: turn it on by default
but allow to turn it off.
Best regards
Hartmut
