No sound on a Kozumi KTV - 01C (Bt878A)

I'm trying to get a Kozumi KTV - 01C (chipset Bt878A) working and I'm
having some problems with the sound. The catv tuning works just fine
but I can't get the audio to work. I connected the external and
interal A-Out connectors to the Line-In and Aux-In connectors of
SoundBlaster Live! 7.1 24bits (cheap ca0106 card). All the volume
levels are up to 100% and I tried selecting all the connectors as
capturing devices.

I'm using a Ubuntu 6.10 (kernel 2.6.17).

Any ideas?
