Need help extending cx88 driver for new card

Hi,

I'm trying to extend the cx88 driver to support the Samsung SMT 7020s
set-top-box.
About the DVB Hardware in the box:

lspci says:
Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder
Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and Audio Decoder [MPEG Port]

Furthermore there is a LG TDQF-S001F Tuner, and a ISL6421AER LNB Driver.

The box is running CE in it's original configuration, and so far
noone has been able to get the DVB working under XP. ( AFAIK )

So far so good.

I started out by extending the cx88 driver with the cards hardware
information and set up a card entry for the device.
I went ahead and added the neccesary functions for the stv0299 in the
tuner and the functions to set the PLL in the cx88-dvb code.

I now have a driver that loads and apparently the frontend even tunes
to the frequencies I supply ( VSTATUS=0x81 from stv0299 driver ), but
the cx88 driver then reports a timeout.

What might I be missing ?
