I have read in a number of places that if you load the em2880-dvb module, you cannot get the analog channels. I am currently using a stock Fedora Core 6 with the v4l-dvb-kernel drivers installed. I do not have digital channel where I live but I can get a number of analog broadcast and cable channels. In FC6, the system automatically loads em28xx, em28xx-audio and em2880-dvb whenever the HVR950 is plugged in.
What can I do to ensure that the em2880-dvb module is not loaded? I am sure that I am correct when I say that doing a rmmod after it is loaded is too late. I have not been able to tell when the system tells the em2880-dvb module to load.
