oh my, does it mean you did not even try card=81 until now ?


No, I for some reason hadn't. I did now. Testing in KDETV, I got colored,
diagonal lines, moving as there were tv being displayed. After adjusting the
overscan in KDETV, the image suddenly appeared as it should :)
Next up is getting audio working. Tried unmuting everything I found in
alsamixer, but no go. This card does not have an output I can plug into my
sound card's line in, as some cards do. Oh, and card=81 created a radio
device, but tuning with Gnomeradio found no channels.

I'm still on 2.6.16, so I hope and assume I will get further once I get
around to upgrading.
