[Bug 5183] titles in short urls: question mark not supported

Hmmm - this works quite nicely on my test site with the examples you gave...

Could you perhaps add some logging to articles/xaruserapi/leftjoin.php, and log
the content of $leftjoin['where'] near the bottom of that function ? And then
see what the where clause becomes ?

In my case, it's something like this :

xar_articles.xar_pubtypeid = 1 AND (xar_articles.xar_title = 'hi\\_?\\_there')

for the URL .../index.php/news/hi_%3F_there
