XAR2 modules installation

The latter. Most modules from the xaraya modules repository don't run
under 2x (there are some exceptions, like sitetools iirc).
You can get 2x compatible modules at www.it-works.ch in the downloads
section. Those under the "2x" heading and most of those under the "new"
heading run on 2x.
Rule of thumb: any 1x module that has dd properties won't run under 2x
without conversion.
