Red Hat will stop maintenance of RH 7.2 and 7.3 at the end of this year. This will not cause any problem in the near future (probably) but very soon it will be hard to find drivers for new hardware (like new network cards, video cards, HDD controlers etc.) i.e. it will become impossible to make a platform with new hardware. The similar thing happened to SCO/Dialogic few years ago.

Are there any plans for supporting newer RH (enterprise) distributions or other Linux distributions ?
