1. DTI/480SC can be used for NFAS. D/480SC-2T1 can be used for NFAS too, however it can't be used to connect to any span that has a D-Channel - D/480-2T1 can be used only to connect pure B-Channel spans.
2. That's right. DTI/XXXSC must run D-Channel, D/XXXSC-XT1 or DTI/XXXSC may be connected to spans without D-Channel.
(At least this is the way it works under linux)
