T1 ISDN issue:
Usually on a T1 ISDN span (PRI they call it) you get a separate D channel as channel 24, unless if it is not a bundle NFAS, that either way you get like a D channel, but for a combined number of T1s - not quite recommended.
So you need first to see what ISDN protocol is delivered by your TELCO end, select the exact one at your system, and let them know, to build up an independent span, D channel 24, and all will be fine. Indeed you'll have 23 B channels good to go.
