PBX Intg. Users Guide: Rolm clarification

-I have a question on the PBX Integration Board User's Guide. In section 4.2.1 "Siemens Rolm Programming Requirements", there is a note as follows:

NOTE: For transferred calls, the called-party ID appears as a direct call
because the PBX does not write the called-party ID to the display.

This seems to say the called-party appears and doesn't appear.

I have two questions:
1. Is this speaking of transferring someone directly to the d42-ROLMPhone400 line, or transferring to a different extension that covers on RNA to the d42-ROLMPhone400 line?
2. Which ever case then is indicated by the "note" which extension actually appears on the display?
