When You setup 2 nodes "back to back", one of the nodes must be configured to "drive" the trunk synchronization.
In You setup You do that in config.txt (assuming that it's the SS7HD boards that You connect trunk(s) to back to back), in the SS7_BOARD flags parameter, bit 0 should be set to 0 on one of the nodes.
Example:
On node 1 flags is set to 0x004A (this node will drive the trunk sync using the internal oscillator)
On node 2 flags is set to 0x004B (this node will derive the clock from the trunk interfaces).
Note: I don't have any experience with H.100 only H.110 so the termination bit (bit 3) in the above examples may be incorrect.
